Acclaimed author and cuentista, Clarissa Pinkola Estes will introduce the documentary that will be preceded by a rare video of Denver’s own Opalanga Pugh, entitled “Why the Sky so High”.

 

The documentary examines the life, extraordinary contributions and contradictions of the late Tony Shearer: a Denver native (Westsider), poet, activist and storyteller who gave our local movement veteranos their first insights into Meso-American spirituality.
